The W Class Trams are a family of electric trams built by the Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board (MMTB) between 1923 and 1956. Melbourne’s iconic fleet of W-Class trams servicing the City Circle are currently being restored so they can operate on Melbourne’s tram network for many years to come. A total of 12 trams are scheduled to be completed by 2020.
